2000 Latin Tours : FAQ

1. What are the penalties for Cancellations?

If passenger cancels within 45 days of departure, a charge of 15% of total package will apply, between 15 and 45 days the deposit will not be refunded, between 8 and 14 days the deposit plus 25% of the total cost, and within 7 days or less prior to departure 100% will be charged. There might be additional penalty cancellation charges levied by our overseas contractors.

2. Do you charge for changes?

No, we do not charge for changes made before documents are issue. We do charge a $25.00 service fee per passenger for all changes made within 30 days of departure for re-issue of documents, plus any additional fees made by our overseas contractors.

3. How long do I have to make the deposit?

We require a deposit of 50% per person once reservation is confirmed.

4. How long before I have to make full payment.

Full payment must be received 45 days before departure. For airfares, payment is due at time of booking.

5. What do I do if passengers request a refund?

You must send a claim for refund in writing within 30 days from the last date of services with details and substantiation. Refunds are only given if 2000 Latin Tours and/or Supplier abroad determine reason to be beyond the control of the traveler.

6. How are vouchers and/or documents sent? Are they online?

2000 Latin tours send all documents and vouchers within 30 days of departure date via e-mail. For documents that cannot be sent online, they will be mailed via US postal service.

7. How much commission do you pay?

2000 Latin tours pay 10% commission for payment made with a credit card and 12% for payments made with agency check.

8. When do you pay commissions?

Commissions are paid one week after passenger returns.
